A Message from EntreEd’s Executive Director, Dr. Gene Coulson
We had hoped that our EntreEd Forum, scheduled for November 18-19, was far enough from the COVID outbreak in the spring that we would be able to welcome everyone back together after all the zooming! Unfortunately, all evidence indicates that health and safety issues as well as the uncertainty of the education environment will not allow a Forum in 2020. With individuals’ health and safety in mind, the EntreEd Board of Directors, with my support, has decided that an in-person conference in November is not feasible, as new COVID-19 cases have not dissipated this summer as we had hoped. With mixed emotions, we will postpone the Forum to a date later in 2021 and keep our fingers crossed.
In the meantime, we will not be having a virtual conference either. EntreEd has several new products and opportunities to introduce in 2020 and 2021 and we will be offering those online as they are ready. We intend to be an online presence for you, just not in a conference format. We will also be working with our partners to support the goals and activities of the ARC POWER grant and helping schools achieve America’s Entrepreneurial Schools status. Stay tuned to our social media announcements for details and exact dates. We wish all of you a safe and healthy summer and fall!
To those that submitted proposals for keynotes and breakouts sessions, we will notify you when a new 2021 date and format is determined and invite you to join us then. Thank you for your willingness and cooperation.
We thank all of you for your understanding during these uncertain times.
