EntreEd - The National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education

EntreEd would like to recognize the class of 2020 for their outstanding entrepreneurial achievements! The following students were nominated by educators from their home high schools. We celebrate their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. The sky is the limit for these brilliant entrepreneurial minds!

Brandon Fan- Blacksburg High School, Blacksburg, VA

“Brandon is the best entrepreneurial mind I have taught in 20 years. He became involved with BHS DECA as a junior and developed a business forum for Global Entrepreneurship Week. An innovator at heart, Brandon and a classmate presented his app idea called “Sprout” in DECA’s Entrepreneurship written event and advanced to international competition. He has also created an app called Biblink, which connects Christians to bible study sources, along with a research-based medical app focusing on healthcare analytics. Brandon served as the Vice President of Entrepreneurship for our BHS DECA Chapter this year. He plans to attend the University of Michigan to study Engineering and Business.”

Haley Mullins & Halley Turner- Jackson City School, Jackson, KY

“Haley and Halley are student leaders in entrepreneurship. They led the digital memory books project at JCS, which were visual yearbooks that followed students and classes around throughout the school year to capture memories digitally. It became a profitable business and they competed with it in regional and state entrepreneurship competitions in Kentucky, including the Lt. Governor’s Entrepreneurship Challenge. They were also speakers on the 2019 National Entrepreneurship Week webinar for entrepreneurship education day.”

Aaron Trinidad- Holy Trinity High School, Chicago, Illinois


“Aaron has been a B-STEM student for all four years at Holy Trinity High School. His passion for business developed as he participated in our Business STEM program. He lives the entrepreneurial mindsets! Aaron’s team won the World Series of Innovation competition as freshmen and he is the National winner for NFTE’s Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019. He is excited to make his business, Lender a reality!”

Jake Randall- Lamoille Union High School, Hyde Park, Vermont


“Jake has participated in our Lancerships Program over the past 3 years. During this time, he has built and led a team of students to become the most successful business (Royal Tees) in our program. He is a goal driven student, has a tremendous work ethic, and is a team player. He assisted in our presentation at the 2019 EntreEd Forum (via facetime) and recorded a podcast with EntreEd. I am honored to have worked with him for this amount of time.”
