Official Announcement: Captain Neferteri Strickland Joins the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education

May 7, 2025 – EntreEd (The National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education) proudly announces the appointment of Neferteri Strickland as Strategic Advisor to the Board of Directors. In this role, Strickland will support EntreEd’s mission to advance entrepreneurship education across K–16 education and help shape strategic initiatives for the organization’s future.

“Neferteri is exactly the kind of bold, visionary leader EntreEd needs as we chart an exciting new course,” said EntreEd’s Fiscal and Administrative Manager, Torin Darling Brazzle. “Her deep commitment to empowering learners and communities will help us transform the landscape of entrepreneurship education across the country.”

A highly respected Cybertechnology Strategist, military officer, and adjunct professor, Strickland brings a unique blend of leadership and insight at the intersection of technology, education, and community development. Her appointment signals a bold step forward for EntreEd as it sharpens its focus on innovation, resilience, and purpose in a rapidly changing world.

“Entrepreneurship education isn’t just about building businesses—it’s about building resilient, future-ready communities,” said Strickland. “I’m excited to help drive innovation, access, and opportunity for the next generation of changemakers.”

Strickland’s leadership includes the creation of a national K–12 Cybersecurity Career Ambassador Program with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s NICE Community of Interest, evaluating national entrepreneurship education standards, and developing learning content tailored for neurodiverse students at the Haub School of Business. Her work consistently centers on expanding participation, access and preparing learners for the future of work.

At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched the TEACHERS & community, an initiative providing strategic consulting to educational leaders navigating disruption and transformation. She currently lectures at The Wharton School of Business and commands Charlie Company, 628th ASB, in the 28th Infantry Division.

“I’m honored to join the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education to advance a future where every learner is empowered to think globally, act locally, and lead with purpose,” she added.

Strickland resides in the Greater Philadelphia area with her husband and two children. Her passion lies in building meaningful bridges between technology, education, and community empowerment, values that align strongly with EntreEd’s evolving mission.
